I'm curious for a living, and I'd rather build the fix than write the complaint — though I usually end up doing both.

I grew up in Meerut, an hour outside Delhi. I read constantly, argue competitively, and carry a camera most places — the mountains in Ladakh are where I like being most, and where I do my clearest thinking.

What links everything I work on is access. Some people can't read a webpage comfortably; some can't afford the next book. Those are engineering problems as much as social ones, and I find that combination genuinely fun to sit with.

I speak four languages, code in several, and I'm most useful where computer science meets economics — which is where I intend to keep working.
